Hey Guys, are you aware of anyone moving from MYSQL to MSSQL or vice versa - what were your experiences - Mark Smith

Many people have moved between database platforms.

A database platform move from one to another is not for the feignt of heart. It requires a full code review, data type mappings and possible conversion, probably major stored procedure and trigger rewriting, followed by a full regression test.

All that said, it can be done, and if done in a very methodical mannor will turn out fine.
