msmq missing messages after applying SP3a to SQL server

Used to work fine:
(windows 200 server, sql server 2000, JDBC driver SP2.)
Two java processes, one sending messages (using jdbc and sql as temp storage), second is receiving and placing on msmq.

After installing SP3a for SQL server, under high load (200 a sec) there are missing messages in msmq.
Installed everything from scratch on separate machine, works fine until SP3a is applied.
Any help is highly appreciatedCheck for error messages on the box with SP3. M$ closed the hole for buffer overflow. JDBC by default is declaring @.Px as NVARCHAR(4000). If you are not handling TYPEing correctly, post-SP3 machine will post something like "Invalid TDS packet sent by client" error to the log.|||That would be where I look first. With sp3/3a microsoft modified quite a bit on the security side which has caused problems in other areas as well. Check your event logs and sql server logs. If nothing there, use sql profiler on the test machine and trap on "errors and warnings".|||actually, i belive it was a good thing they addressed this, but a bad thing the way they did it. now the bewildered and confused jdbc coders are looking out the window and wondering if the world's really ending or it's just their code...

Msg 8964 After applying sql server service pack 4

Even though I have installed the latest sql server service pack (4). When I
run the dbcc checkdb statement with the arithabort set to on for one of my
production databases, I still get a few line with the error:
Server: Msg 8964, Level 16, State 1, Line 4
Table error: Object ID 2. The text, ntext, or image node at page (1:380425),
slot 2, text ID 2789285298176 is not referenced.
Even when I run: SELECT @.@.VERSION system stored procedure it returns
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 -8.00.2039(Intel x86)
As the version that I am using. I have also just today re-applied the
service pack following step by step the instruction in the sqlreadme for
service pack 4. I have read a solution that suggested re-installing sql
server but that is just not an option right now, because of the fact that it
is a production database that is in constant use. I'm also starting to think
that these arent necessarily errors that are critical. Could someone
help\advise?

There is nothing wrong with your SP level, but you have corruption in your
DB that applying a SP can not help to fix. SP's do not affect user DB's,
only system DB's.
run DBCC with the REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS option. For more information on
the command, look in Books Online.

MSDTC stopped working on primary node

Looking for some advice on an issued that just popped up. Not sure if
this was the cause but after applying MS04-011 and 012 MSDTC will not
run on the primary Node. Main application error message is:
"MS DTC was unable to start because the installation of was not
configured to run on a cluster. Please run comclust.exe and restart
MS DTC. Error Specifics: .\msdtc.cpp:825, CmdLine:
C:\WINNT\System32\msdtc.exe, Pid: 2160"
Just curious if anyone has run comclust again after MSDTC has been
setup and if this will cause any issues. I think that it shouldn't
but it doesn't hurt to check.

Did you run comclust on both nodes of the cluster?
If so you should be able to run comclust -r on the primary node while the
resource is on the secondary node. After this you can run comclust on this
node. This should resolve the problem.
