Msg 512 on cursor

Everytime I execute this procedure it gives a msg 512 subquery returns more then one value. Can someone just explain why or what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance

Here is my code:

create procedure insert_sku_info
AS
Declare
@.method varchar(40),
@.sku int,
@.location varchar(40)

Declare insert_cur Cursor For
select a.method, s.sku, s.location
from archive_sku a INNER JOIN sku s on a.sku = s.sku
and a.location = s.location

Open insert_cur

Fetch Next from insert_cur
Into @.method, @.sku, @.location

While (@.@.Fetch_Status = 0)
Begin

print @.method + @.sku + @.location

Update sku
set method = @.method
where sku = @.sku
and location = @.location

Fetch Next from insert_cur
Into @.method, @.sku, @.location

End
close insert_cur
deallocate insert_curNever mind I figured it out.

That print statement I had listing all the variables was the problem.

Thanks anyway.

msdtssrvr.exe - sql 2005 sp2

Installed sp2 for sql 2005

cannot start msdtssrvr.exe

event viewer returns:

The SQL Server Integration Services service failed to start due to the following error:

The system cannot find the file specified.

I tried to locate the msdtssrvr.exe in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn\

I cannot locate the file .

You need to install SSIS from the installation media. The SSIS service is not installed by default, though I'm surprised you have a service listed for SSIS in the first place.

MSDTC

Hi,

I am running SQl 7.0 (SP4) on Windows XP Professional (SP2). Whenever I try an insert/update type of activity, the System returns the following message :

Server: Msg 8501, Level 16, State 3, Line 2
MSDTC on server 'SERVER' is unavailable.

However, all the required services including MSDTC are running on the System.

Please help ASAP.

Thanks & Regards - Rajesh Pathak

It sounds like DTC is turned off on the other machine. Can you confirm that it is on and try again?

Thanks,
Sam Lester (MSFT)

|||Hello Sam,

Thanks for the prompt reply. As a matter of fact, trying any operation on the Server System which itself runs SQL 7.0 returns the MSDTC not running message. If it works on the Server System then I can try debugging problems on other Client Systems.

Kindly let me have probable resolution to this.

Thanks & Regards - Rajesh Pathak
