MS-DTC

I have a SQL Server 2000 Cluster with Windows 2003 Server what resource
should MS-DTC depend on?

As per best practices, you should have a seperate group for MS-DTC. MS-DTC requires a shared disk, ip address and network name.
MSDTC resource has dependency for shared disk and network name.
Note: It is NOT recommended to use the SQL shared disk or the quorum disk for MSDTC.

Hello Joe,
The MSDTC resource in a Windows 2003 should ideally be in its own cluster
group, which contains the following resources:
* IP address resource
* Network Name resource
* "Physical disk" resource
* MSDTC Resource
For the depencies of the MSDTC resource you should add both physical disk
and network name.
