MSDTC Error

Setup: Win2K Server, SQL server 2000 sp4
"Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server error '8004d00a'
New transaction cannot enlist in the specified transaction coordinator. "
I've seen the KB atricles if you have this problem on server 2003 but the
items in the steps don't exist in win 2k server.
